Interest in Informatics in High Schools

Knowledge in the field of informatics is becoming a key factor for the competitiveness of individuals and regions. We have prepared a report in which we examined the interest of high school students in studying informatics and attempted to identify factors that influence this interest.

The aim of this analysis was to explore the attitudes of high school students in eastern Slovakia towards informatics and their interest in further studies in this field. The survey focused on various aspects, such as students’ relationship with informatics, their interest in studying informatics, and changes in their attitudes after meeting an industry expert. The survey results provide valuable data that can help schools, companies, and educational institutions better tailor their programs and support young people in their technological development.

This report is available only in the Slovak language.
