MAP-IT (Mapping the functioning of Košice IT Valley as a basis for long-term strategic development of the association)
About the project
The aim of the project was to contribute to the strategic development of the Košice IT Valley cluster by mapping existing networks and collaborations with the intention of increasing its competitiveness on a national and international scale.
Mapping the functioning of the cluster allowed to get to know the state of interconnection of its members, to identify the level of intensity of cooperation between them, barriers to growth as well as opportunities for further development. The network map also provided a picture of partnerships and links of horizontal and vertical nature, soft and hard networks operating between cluster members.
Project output
A network map that serves primarily for the needs of Košice IT Valley in order to create a long-term strategy. It can also have a wider use on a regional or national level.
Funding
The project was financed through a grant from the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
