About the project
The task of the Košice 2.0 project is to create a creative ecosystem in which the various stakeholder groups (local government, population, business) will coexist, cooperate and make qualified decisions in the interest of improving the quality of life in the city.
The Košice 2.0 project worked with three interrelated challenges:
- Fully exploiting the potential offered by cross-sectoral cooperation between the creative industries and IT.
- Economic transformation from an industrial city to a digital and creative city.
- Addressing the problem of low civic engagement and trust in public institutions.
Purpose and objectives of the project
- Increase the quality of life in the city, through the improvement and development of urban services,
- Increase civic engagement in cultural, social and economic activities,
- development of cultural and creative industries and education for job creation
