About the project
The INVESTech project aims to support the establishment and development of a transnational platform of collaborative Centres of Excellence in Education (CoVEs) in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in five European countries: in Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Lithuania. The project seeks to respond to the changing needs of the ICT sector by fostering collaboration between education, the labour market and other stakeholders, enhancing the quality of skills development, promoting green transformation and ensuring social inclusion.
What does the project want to achieve?
- International portal: We are developing a dynamic virtual space for collaboration between CoVEs stakeholders, increasing global connectivity.
- Micro-Certificates in Advanced Technology: we are developing a series of micro-certificates tailored to industry needs and labour market demand to ensure that our students are well prepared for future challenges.
- Online Courses:Comprehensive sets of online courses with state-of-the-art technologies are being introduced. These courses are designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to support their professional growth.
- ICT Bootcamps: we will offer intensive training programs and hands-on experience in specific areas of ICT, which will significantly increase participants’ practical skills and readiness for the tech industry.
- Green Transformation Handbook: to support the sustainable development of VET organisations, we are creating a Green Transformation Handbook. This handbook will equip VET schools with concrete strategies to integrate sustainable practices and green strategies into their curricula, supporting the transition to a greener VET sector.
